Minimum Class Standing:
The Pasadena/Point Loma Class of 1949 very generously set up an endowment to be used specifically to assist students studying abroad. Scholarships of up to $1000 are now available to students!
The applicant must be a study abroad student approved to study abroad by the PLNU Office of Global Studies (preference given to full semester programs).
The applicant must be at least a sophomore by the time of the international study and have financial need.
The applicant must also be a full-time student and must be academically eligible for a PLNU scholarship and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
A completed Scholarship Application & Essay
A Recommendation form completed by a professor in the applicant’s area of interest or major
A Recommendation form completed by a Pastor, spiritual leader or Resident Director with regard to the applicant’s moral and Christian character
A copy of the applicant’s unofficial transcript
Proof of financial need (FASFA)
Who: Students studying in spring, fall or summer (preference given to full semester programs)
