Coronavirus Updates

The Study Abroad Office is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in locations where we will have students studying abroad.

Be advised that complete COVID-19 vaccination may be required 14+ days in advance of all international study programs.  Domestic programs will require COVID-19 vaccination 14+ days in advance when required by host/partner entities.  If you have questions about these policies, please contact the Study Abroad Office.

     Read the Centers for Disease Control’s guidelines for the prevention of
coronavirus and information on health conditions.
     Review the Embassy’s latest alerts for additional information regarding
COVID-19.
     Health official guidance and avoid government-designated
affected areas.
     Follow the instructions of local authorities.
     Monitor local media for breaking events and adjust your plans based on
new information.
     Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive
Alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency.
     Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter.
     Prepare a contingency plan for emergency situations. Review the Traveler’s Checklist.
